Quicksilver

This entry is to remind me how to use Quicksilver until I have used it a bit more. This utility needs OS X 10.3.3 and provides, among other things, the ability to search for and launch links, documents and applications on the Mac. I found a pointer to Quicksilver at vowe dot net this morning and I think I will end up using it a lot.

The authors seem to be typical software developers, and clearly hate writing documentation, so the application is great and the documentation is as good as non-existent, which is where this link to Dan Dickinson comes in handy - he has provided a beginner’s guide to using the most important features of Quicksilver.
