Unwanted CDs? Return to sender...

A bill has been introduced in California, which if passed, would require companies indulging in mass-mailings of more than 200 CDs or DVDs to provide the recipients with a way of returning unwanted disks for recycling free of charge.

Given that America Online (AOL) alone distributes some 300 million unsolicited CDs per year, this sounds like an excellent idea, which could copied in other states and countries too.
