Ruth has taken up patchwork and quilting this year, having played with one or two ideas over the last 25 years or more. Click on the thumbnail above to take you to a page with more information.

If you are interested in learning more about this sort of thing, take a look at Quilt University – they offer very reasonable courses for around $20 – $35 per course. Ruth has taken 3 or 4 courses there and has enjoyed them all, so far.

    When I first read the title, I mis-read it as Ruth’s Quitting. It’s a relief to know she’s ‘only’ quilting! (perhaps you’ve patched-up your differences)

    Hi Marc, I think we need to patch-up our brains right now – have just got back from two weeks intensive Spanish course in Salamanca. The school managed to ram 3 past tenses (including tens of irregular verbs) and two different forms of the imperative into us in that time. But it was great fun, nonetheless! I need to get through the backlog of both real and electronic correspondence and then I hope to resume posting…
