Still snowy here

Just in case you were wondering (which, of course, you weren’t) – the ground here still hasn’t had a snow-free day since Christmas. And guess what, it is snowing at the moment – again. (No “Santa’s Little Helper” this time: she’s in the cellar still, Marc)

    Well we havnt had as much snow as you but its been below freezing since Christmas here with the very rare exceptions of a day up to +5.

    Yesterday whilst low-flying down the Autobahn from Rendsburg towards Hamburg we had sleet Brrrrrrrr

    It’s been quite cold here too: minus 3°C today, and as low as minus 9°C. Which is part of the reason why the snow has been hanging around so long. We’re at 620 m above sea-level here, compüared to Frankfurt’s 98 m, so we also tend to get snow when it’s raining in Frankfurt.
