Good grief - I hope to be finished in 3-4 weeks, not 18 months, k.d!! (Any renovation in 2008 isn't planned yet - I think when we've finished this, we will have had enough for a bit).

Having said that, we planned a week for the first room, which is the biggest, but laying the parquet floor took longer than we expected, so we've not quite finished although we started last Saturday (I still have to fit the edging strips round the walls, but I hope to finish them today).

One problem is, that originally Ruth was going to take holiday at the same time to help, but then she and her customer couldn't agree all the details of when / how the holiday should be taken and she ended up working instead, so during the day I'm a bit handicapped on some jobs without a second pair of hands.

...as things move along: when do you think you're finished?

you called the album "renovation 2007" - so i guess there's a "renovation 2008" on the way! right? ;-)
