According to El País, amazon.es will be starting up on 15.09.2011.
That’s good news for us, as we buy quite a lot from Amazon, not just books, but also electronic and kitchen equipment, and were going to miss them once we got established in Xàtiva!
Spaniards have waited for 16 years, but it is finally here. Amazon.es will be up and running on September 15, a day after its presentation by Greg Greeley, vice-president of the online seller’s European division, sources in the know said…
I love Amazon!
As I work from home, I enjoy the convenient shopping and deliveries.
Got an invite from them to add their amazon.es banner to my blog, but have not made a decision yet.
I don’t know if you have ever had a problem with something bought at amazon, but the customer service is simply amazing.
I have had 2 or 3 times when I have had a problem, and the customer service were always very quick, fair and helpful in sorting out the problem.
I think the most impressive was when i bought a kindle that wouldn’t register to me. I called their hotline, was asked to run a series of tests which they monitored remotely. The kindle was pronounced “defective” and a replacement arrived 2 days later by courier, before I had returned the original one via UPS to the USA at their expense. You can’t beat that!
